Geekwithtoys.ca came to be shortly after I discovered the Nao robot.

I have always had an interest in electronics and computers growing up, so when I discovered Nao it seemed only natural for me to apply to the Nao Development program.

My name is Mike Ferguson and I work in the Mobile Technology field.  I graduated from Seneca College with a Computer Systems Technology diploma. I specialized in networking and security in college, but ended up working in the software field upon graduation.

I have always enjoyed programming as a hobby. I started off using QBasic in the early days, then moved on to PHP while I was in college. In my daily role now I work mostly in Java, C++, Python and occasionally Actionscript.

The goal of this experiment with being part of the Nao Development program is to further my skill in C++ and hopefully improve the Nao along the way. I plan to use this blog to share my experiences and hopefully help others that share the same interests.
