iRobot just announced a new surveillance robot geared towards the military. It’s definitely not very subtle when thrashing around a building or doing 540 McTwists down the stairs. But it is still pretty cool. It’s clearly very durable which I think was the main point they are getting at. Now all they need to do is pack it full of C4 and add an automated infrared hunter mode. Room packed full of terrorists would be no match.
